A benchmark California field blend, Ridge Lytton Springs 2010 is produced from the historic Lytton Springs Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley. The blend is composed of 67% Zinfandel, 23% Petite Sirah, 7% Carignane, and 3% Mataro (Mourvèdre). Despite the challenging 2010 growing season, the wine displays remarkable balance and structure with concentrated aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, plum, blueberry, cracked pepper, licorice, dried herbs, and toasted spice. The palate is full-bodied with bright acidity, polished tannins, and a long, savory finish.
