"A well-composed, poised and lively Condrieu. It shows notes of yellow plums, lemons, wild herbs and a touch of verbena. Medium-bodied with a succulent development. It’s textural and precise, with good volume on the mid-palate. Succulent and flavorful finish. Drink or hold."

Yves Cuilleron is a highly respected producer in the Northern Rhône, and his Condrieu wines—especially the "Les Chaillets" cuvée—are known for their quality. Past vintages of "Les Chaillets" have received strong ratings, often in the 90–94 point range from critics like Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate.

The 2022 vintage in the Rhône Valley was characterized by a warm and dry growing season, which generally led to concentrated and expressive wines. Given this, it's reasonable to expect that the 2022 "Les Chaillets" would continue the high standard set by previous vintages.
