Crafted by Ridge Vineyards from the rugged, high-elevation Kite Hill parcel of York Creek Vineyard, this 2012 Zinfandel is a blend of 86% Zinfandel and 14% Petite Sirah. The steep hillside vineyard produces intensely concentrated fruit, offering aromas and flavors of blackberry, black raspberry, plum, black pepper, licorice, and toasted spice. Petite Sirah adds structure, depth, and color, while extended barrel aging enhances complexity and balance. Only 50 barrels were produced, making this a rare, cellar-worthy bottling with exceptional aging potential.
