From the historic Rochioli Vineyard in California’s renowned Russian River Valley, Ramey’s 2023 Rochioli Vineyard Chardonnay showcases the elegance, depth and remarkable precision of this celebrated Sonoma County terroir. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from the vineyard’s Mid-40 and River blocks, the wine undergoes whole-cluster pressing, native-yeast fermentation and maturation for 20 months in French oak barrels, 20% new. Expressive aromas of ripe pear, crisp green apple, white peach and citrus blossom mingle with delicate notes of hazelnut, vanilla custard, flint and savory herbs. The palate is beautifully layered and concentrated, offering vibrant orchard fruit, silky texture, refreshing acidity and distinctive mineral complexity.
