One of New Zealand's benchmark Pinot Noirs, the 2010 Neudorf Moutere Pinot Noir Home Vineyard is sourced exclusively from the estate's celebrated Moutere clay soils in Upper Moutere, Nelson. Produced to commemorate 30 years of Neudorf, this wine reflects the vineyard's remarkable ability to produce Pinot Noir of exceptional elegance, complexity, and longevity.
Hand-harvested from old, low-cropping vines, the wine was wild fermented and matured for 12 months in French oak with minimal fining or filtration. The result is a beautifully layered Pinot Noir offering vibrant red fruit, floral aromatics, earthy spice, and silky tannins with remarkable balance and precision.
Already showing wonderful maturity, this wine continues to reward careful cellaring while drinking beautifully today.
