From winemaker Donald Patz (formerly of Patz & Hall), Maritana Vineyards is dedicated to expressing the elegance of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. The Le Russe cuvée is crafted from select vineyards planted in the Goldridge soils that give the wines their hallmark finesse and perfume.

The 2021 vintage opens with lifted aromatics of wild cherry, raspberry, and red plum layered with rose petal, forest floor, and subtle baking spice. The palate is silky and vibrant, showing a fine balance of ripe red fruit, savory earth, and bright acidity. Elegant tannins frame a long, graceful finish with hints of clove and mineral.

A quintessential expression of Russian River Pinot Noir, Le Russe is approachable in its youth yet structured enough to develop beautifully over the next 5–7 years.
