The 2007 Aloxe-Corton is a fully mature Burgundy that leans into elegance and tertiary complexity rather than fruit-driven power. Aromas have moved beyond primary red fruit into dried cherry, rose petal, forest floor, and soft spice, with a gentle earthiness that feels very Côte de Beaune. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied and refined, with softened tannins, bright but mellow acidity, and a savory, slightly mineral core that carries through the finish.
