Crafted from estate-grown fruit in the elevated Clarendon subregion of McLaren Vale, the Hickinbotham 'Trueman' Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the elegance and power of Australian Cabernet. Rich aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark plum are complemented by notes of cedar, graphite, violets and subtle baking spice. The full-bodied palate is structured and refined, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity and exceptional concentration leading to a long, polished finish. While approachable in its youth, this wine rewards careful cellaring and will continue to develop added complexity over the next decade or more.
