From Giovanni Chiappini’s Felciaino and Fondi vineyards in Bolgheri, this 100% Vermentino is grown on medium-textured soils with an alluvial calcareous skeleton. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged for at least five months in steel, it expresses the fresh, mineral character of coastal Tuscany. The wine shows sage, acacia flowers, citrus and delicate mineral notes, with bright acidity, freshness and a savory finish.
