From Giovanni Chiappini’s organically farmed vineyards in Bolgheri, Felciaino is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged for 12 months in used French oak. The 2022 vintage offers an intense, generous profile of ripe plum, sweet cherry, leather and tobacco, with a touch of vanilla. The palate is powerful and fruit-driven, with firm tannins and an impressively long finish.
