The Family Home Cabernet Sauvignon is Gamble Family Vineyards' estate Cabernet sourced from the historic Gamble family property in the heart of Oakville. The 2012 vintage comes from four distinct vineyard blocks with rocky, well-drained volcanic soils and varied exposures, producing exceptional concentration and complexity. Each block was hand-harvested, fermented, and aged separately before spending approximately 20 months in French oak and being blended into a polished, age-worthy wine. Rich notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark cherry, cedar, cocoa, tobacco, and graphite are supported by refined tannins and a long, elegant finish. Only 915 cases were produced.
