Daniele Conterno’s Panarole Barolo 2019 is an elegant, classically styled Nebbiolo showing lifted aromas of rose, dried cherry, licorice and subtle spice. The palate is refined and structured, with bright acidity, firm tannins, and flavors of red berry, balsamic tones and a long, savory, mineral finish. A traditional botti-aged Barolo from a high-elevation site, it drinks beautifully with a short decant but will continue to evolve gracefully for more than a decade.
