Chateau Lynch-Moussas, Pauillac, France 2000

A classic, fully mature Pauillac from a benchmark vintage. Notes of dried cassis, cedar, cigar box, leather, and forest floor dominate, with subtle earthy spice underneath. Medium-bodied and elegant, the tannins are resolved and silky, carrying the wine to a graceful, savory finish. Not flashy this is old-school Bordeaux charm, best enjoyed now with roast lamb or aged cheeses.
