Château de Cruzeau Blanc 2023 is a refined and expressive white Bordeaux made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The wine opens with vibrant aromas of exotic fruit and grapefruit, complemented by elegant notes of brioche and toast. On the palate, it is full and rounded, with a creamy texture balanced by lively freshness and a long, elegant finish. Fermented and aged on the lees in oak barrels for 10 months, including 35% new oak, it offers a beautiful combination of freshness, texture, and subtle oak character.
Wine Enthusiast 91 “A ripe approach to Sauvignon Blanc gives a wine with tropical fruit aromas and a lightly spicy flavor. The wine has a vibrant character, toasty as well as full of citrus and white fruit flavors. Drink from 2026.” — Roger Voss
James Suckling 91 “This crisp and tropical white has aromas of guavas, grapefruit and lemongrass. It's medium-bodied, tangy and refreshing, with a creamy finish. Sauvignon blanc. Delicious now.”
Decanter 90 “Engaging lemon/lime aromas introduce a straightforward palate with some varietal character that is fresh and easy going. While this will not be a long-term drinker, best to pop corks upon release and enjoy over tapas. A pleasure to drink.”
