Description

A family winery, Boal de Arousa is located within the DO Rías Baixas. The 3 hectares of vineyards, called “Viña de Louro,” are just outside Padrón, on a gentle hill surrounded by oaks and Atlantic pines overlooking the sea. The ocean air draws inland during the night and cools the grapes. No pesticides or herbicides are used. After manual harvest, the grapes are pressed in a horizontal press. The ripening is undertaken exclusively on stainless steel for about 6 months.
