Opening aromas of dark cherry, showing both dried and preserved, followed by an elegant earthy note of roasted mushrooms, savory herbs and spice. The wine shines in the glass with ample fruit, but the savory flavors and balanced tannins steal the show. Good now but some extra years in the bottle will bring smiles to those who can wait.
