Description

Lychee, citrus blossom, apricot, fresh flowers and hints of mint all give way nice round profile and a beautiful freshness. Nice minerality too. Pairs great with white meats with a mushroom sauce, fish, or hard cheeses.

50% GRENACHE BLANC, 25% VIOGNIER, 25% CLAIRETTE

The originality is again at the rendezvous: while the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard is one of the most fragmented in France, the 20 hectares over which the Font du Loup estate extends are of a alone holding. This geographical configuration brings a beautiful unity to the palette of aromas displayed by the wines of the château. As for their singular finesse, which never ceases to surprise, vintage after vintage, it is due to a soil composed essentially of sand, where pebbles usually reign supreme. The Château de la Font du Loup benefits from natural irrigation thanks to the famous spring which brought the wolves down from Mont Ventoux, and from a large groundwater table nearby.
