Soft, light, and approachable Nebbiolo that lacks most of the tannic bite usually found in young wine of this type. Aldo and Milena Vajra are among the quietest and most introspective of Piedmonts top echelon growers. It is the wines that do the talking here, and they do that ever so eloquently. Vajra's Langhe Nebbiolo (from the estates youngest vines) is another impeccable, harmonious wine laced with plump, perfumed Nebbiolo fruit. The Langhe Nebbiolo offers outstanding length in a soft, accessible style that is sure to find many admirers. This is a great bottle of wine for the money!

Production Notes

 Our Langhe Nebbiolo ages for usually 8 to 14 months. It is a wide range, in order to respect the uniqueness of each vintage and patiently await for the optimal bottling time. Most of the ageing is carried in stainless-steel vats, with a minor fraction of the wine being in neutral oak only when needed.
