The Nina Lee Syrah is primarily a blend of the original block of Syrah planted in 1998 and the "Steep Hill" Vineyard block. The fruit was picked in early September and co-fermented with 6% Viognier and 35% stems. The wine is very refined and delicate. It is less about the spice and more about the elegance.
Tasting notes
The Nina Lee Syrah reveals aromas of dry wheat and hint of violet. Bright cherry flavors are complemented by its strong structure and complex minerality.
