The Ridge York Creek Zinfandel 2009 is a distinctive single-vineyard Zinfandel from the rugged slopes of Spring Mountain District in Napa Valley. Sourced from the historic York Creek Vineyard, this wine showcases Ridge Vineyards' philosophy of minimal intervention, sustainable farming, and site-driven winemaking.

Composed of 93% Zinfandel and 7% Petite Sirah, the 2009 vintage benefited from balanced yields that produced fruit with exceptional concentration and structure. Vineyard parcels were fermented separately using native yeasts before aging in American oak barrels, resulting in a wine of depth, complexity, and age-worthy character.

The bouquet opens with aromas of blackberry, black raspberry, plum, cracked pepper, cedar, dried herbs, and baking spices.
