A combination of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo's main grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão. 2020 was a demanding vintage, with low rainfall in the spring and sustained high temperatures from June to August. With a history dating back more than 250 years, this winery has been owned since 1999 by famed cork producer Amorim. Dirceu Vianna Junior: Forward,expressive, intensely perfumed, ripe blackberry, violet, chocolate and exotic spices.Great purity and superb fruit concentration. World class. Christine Allen: A fruit-forward, modern style Douro red with fresh red berries, cherries and damsons. Sumptuous mid-palate, lots of berry concentration. Valentin Radosav: Intense wildblueberry, plum and violet aromas, well balanced tannins and acidity. Shows lovely herbaceousness despite its youth and strength.
