The 2019 Maison André Goichot Gevrey-Chambertin is youthful and expressive, offering aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, violet, and subtle spice layered over a hint of earth. The palate is medium-bodied and polished, with supple tannins, fresh acidity, and a savory edge that nods to Gevrey’s firmer, more structured style. Still on the young side, it’s approachable now with some air but will gain added complexity with a few years in bottle.
