Forge Cellars Cabernet Franc Willow, Seneca Lake, USA 2024

Description

Willow Cabernet Franc offers an expressive single-vineyard interpretation of Seneca Lake, combining dark cherry and raspberry with savory spice and a hint of white pepper. Spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats and twelve months in demi-muids develop texture while preserving freshness. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, the 2024 vintage balances generous fruit with supple tannins and a composed finish.
