Description
Medium ruby-red with a purple rim - is dark, but not opaque. The nose displays weedy cassis & cedary oak. The palate adds ripe liquorice notes to the blackcurrant fruit. There is nice acidity, but the mid palate has a flat spot/hole where the fruit fades. On the finish plummy fruit is revealed by the acidity, this becomes weedy by the end of the wine.
