Description

The 2009 Haut-Médoc is a warm, generous expression of the vintage, showing ripe blackcurrant and dark plum layered with cedar, tobacco, and a touch of graphite. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with supple, well-resolved tannins and a round, polished texture that reflects the sunshine of the year. While clearly mature, it still holds enough freshness to keep the richness in check, finishing with soft spice and classic Left Bank savoriness.
