Viña Nora's location helps extract more of the Albariño variety's potential as well as capture the maximum expression of the land and its landscape in the wine. We do not rush to have our Albariño first in the market. We work the wine on the lees for several months, and do not use centrifuges to hasten the winemaking process.
The winemaker is Alexia Luca de Tena who is one of several women winemakers in Rias Baixas being heralded by international critics and, perhaps more important, by domestic aficionados for creating innovative white wines as they break stereotypes.
