The velvety texture wraps around a dense core of fine-grained tannins, which emerge to create a firm, chalky impression on the finish. Excellent depth of ripe, minty blackberries, mocha, chocolate, black pepper, tar and pine needles. Full-bodied and vertically structured, with a tight coat of dusty, reactive tannins. Long and juicy finish with a good extension of ripe black fruit and sweet spices. Drink or hold.
