Chateau Senejac 2003 is a mature Bordeaux from the Haut Medoc, crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon with supporting Merlot and Petit Verdot. The 2003 vintage was marked by an intense heatwave across France, producing wines with richness, ripeness and softened structure.
Now fully evolved, this wine shows aromas of dried black currant, plum and fig layered with notes of tobacco, cedar, leather and earthy spice. The palate is medium to full bodied with resolved tannins, a supple texture and a warm, savory finish that reflects the character of the vintage.
Best enjoyed now, it pairs beautifully with roast lamb, braised beef, aged cheeses or hearty winter dishes. Decant gently to remove sediment and allow the aromas to open.
