Château du Cauze is a Merlot driven Saint Émilion estate that produces traditional Right Bank blends with richness and structure. The celebrated 2000 vintage shows depth and concentration, opening with aromas of black plum, cassis, and ripe cherry layered with cedar, tobacco, and subtle graphite. With more than two decades of age, the tannins have softened into a velvety texture, revealing complex notes of leather, dried fig, forest floor, and earthy spice.
