Description

From the walled vineyard site in Gigondas, Clos des Tourelles is a single vineyard estate owned by Famille Perrin, also known for Château de Beaucastel. The 2015 vintage in the Southern Rhône was outstanding, delivering concentration, balance and ripe tannins.

Based largely on old vine Grenache with supporting Syrah, the wine shows deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, blackberry and violet layered with garrigue, pepper and subtle stone. The palate is full bodied and structured yet polished, with dense dark fruit framed by firm but refined tannins and a long, powerful finish.
