Crafted in the heart of Willamette Valley by Dominio IV, The Slow Walk of the Wind reflects the warmth and concentration of the 2015 vintage while maintaining the region’s signature freshness.
The growing season was warm and generous, producing wines with ripe fruit and supple texture. In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby hue. Aromas open with black cherry, raspberry and plum layered with rose petal, baking spice and a touch of forest floor.
On the palate it is medium to full bodied with polished tannins and vibrant acidity that keeps the fruit focused. Dark red berry flavors mingle with subtle earth and spice, leading to a long, silky finish. Approachable yet structured, it is drinking beautifully now and will continue to evolve.
An excellent match for roasted duck, grilled salmon, wild mushrooms or herb crusted pork. A brief decant will help it fully open.
